30th Anniversary Fundraiser Event

In 1995, three powerful Native women, Peggy Bird (Kewa), Darlene Correa (Laguna Pueblo), and Genne James (Navajo), came together with a shared vision: to support Native survivors and advocates impacted by violence in their communities. What began as a grassroots effort has grown, over 30 years, into a thriving, Native-led nonprofit driven by their legacy and commitment.
Today, the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (CSVANW) continues this work with a dedicated team of 16 staff and interns who champion survivor voices, strengthen community responses, and work every day to break cycles of violence across New Mexico and the Southwest.
Join us on December 5, 2025, as we honor this history and celebrate CSVANW’s 30th Anniversary Fundraiser Dinner.
Your support fuels our mission to end violence against Native women and children through advocacy, education, and community-rooted prevention. As we deepen relationships with Tribal communities, leaders, and advocates, we continue to share resources, build knowledge, and provide essential training to service providers and first responders both in person and online.
In this time of financial uncertainty, your generosity matters more than ever.
As the only Tribal coalition in New Mexico, your contribution uplifts a powerful, collective movement to build safe, healthy, and thriving futures for Native families.

We want to offer our deepest thanks to all the artists who have donated their work to help us celebrate 30 years of breaking cycles of violence. Your generosity to share your gifts with our community make this event truly special. Every piece contributes to the healing, storytelling, and collective strength at the heart of this anniversary.
Although our initial submission deadline has passed, artists are still warmly welcomed to contribute. If you would like to donate a piece for the exhibition or auction, please submit your work through the form below and drop off at the CSVANW office by or before December 1st, 2025.
Thank you for helping us honor this milestone.
